YAEL ACHER holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Music, Classical Flute Performing Arts from Rubin Academy for Music & Dance, Jerusalem, with additional courses in electronic music and jazz. She has also studied MAX/MSP, computer music, at Harvestworks in New York City.
Acher is a multiple genre instrumentalist/composer, performing and recording classical, contemporary, free-improvisation, electro/instrumental-jazz, and club groove. She has performed as a soloist and with ensembles, choirs, modern dancers, DJs and the circus. Berlingske Tidende has called her music, “Spellbinding, action packed and deeply original.” |
